Privacy Policy
Najem (aibot.scouthub.dev) is an initiative of the ScoutHub platform. We collect as little data as we can, and this page explains plainly what happens to it.
1. What we collect
- Analytics data (only with your consent): through Google Analytics 4 we learn which pages are visited, clicks on the bot buttons, language or theme switches, device and browser type, and approximate location. IP addresses are anonymized before processing.
- Your email address: if you sign up for the digital book, it is sent through Formspree so the copy can reach you, and a backup is kept in your own browser only.
- Preferences in your browser: language, scouting curriculum, light or dark mode, and your cookie choice. These stay on your device and are not sent to us.
We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect payment data. The demo chat window on the page does not send what you type to any server.
2. Cookies and consent
On your first visit a consent banner appears. Google Analytics is switched on only if you press “Accept”. If you choose “Decline” or ignore the banner, the site stays free of tracking. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of the page. Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_*) last up to two years unless you delete them.
3. Third-party services
The site relies on external services that may receive your IP address when the page loads:
- Google Analytics (after your consent) and Google Fonts (typefaces).
- cdnjs by Cloudflare (Font Awesome icons) and jsDelivr (the 3D robot library).
- Formspree (the digital book form).
- Vercel (site hosting).
- Telegram: our bots run inside Telegram, and your conversations with them follow Telegram's policy.
4. How long we keep data
Analytics data is kept for a limited period according to our analytics account settings. We keep the email you signed up with until you ask us to delete it.
5. Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your data, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to ssm@scouthub.dev and we will reply as soon as we can.
6. Children
The site is aimed at adult scout leaders, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
7. Updates
We may update this policy when what we do with data changes. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page.
